Before you run off to check your phone, pause. Ask yourself one thing:
“How do I want to feel today?”
Not “What do I have to do?” Not “What’s on my calendar?” Just — how do I want to feel?
Examples:
- “I want to feel patient.”
- “I want to feel curious.”
- “I want to feel light, even if the day’s heavy.”
Say it out loud. Whisper it. Doesn’t matter. You’re setting the tone, not just surviving the day.
